Simon Business School – University of Rochester
At Simon, an MBA is more than a credential. It’s about a new level of clarity: about how analytical frameworks drive success in business; about what it takes to collaborate and manage in the contemporary, global workplace; and about professional growth and goals.
The student community at Simon is small by design and intentional in its inclusiveness because relationships matter. Simon was ranked the No. 2 most diverse MBA program among top-50 business schools by U.S. News & World Report in 2022, which not only underscores our longstanding commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and access, but also ensures that an extraordinary array of perspectives is always close by. In a class of around 100 people, you’ll build your professional network and create lasting and meaningful connections with peers, faculty, and staff.
Simon was the first business school in the US to offer a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math)-designated option for each of its full-time MBA specializations. A STEM-designated MBA can help you stand out in the job market and gives international students the ability to extend their Optional Practical Training (OPT) for an additional 24 months, for a total of three years of US work eligibility without H1B sponsorship.
Recruiters are consistently impressed with Simon students’ command of a variety of analytical tools and their ability to bring a strategic mindset to the problem at hand. The Full-Time MBA Class of 2022 had 95 percent of job-seeking graduates accept employment within three months post-graduation. Average base salary plus sign-on bonus was $161,740 (according to U.S. News & World Report calculations), and Simon students were hired by leading employers including Amazon, Citigroup, Cognizant, Deloitte, EY–Parthenon, Gartner, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Microsoft, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, and Wayfair, among many others.
